Johnny Lopez, star of The Riveras and the 16-year-old son of the late singer Jenni Rivera (1969-2012), has come out as bisexual following fan speculation ...

Via E! News: Lopez shared a video of himself and his big sis Chiquis Rivera to address all the rumors that he is gay, which began when he retweeted some pictures of himself with his boyfriend, Joaquín.

Rivera said:

They didn't come out exactly the way I wanted to but they're out now. I am in a gay relationship right now and I am in love with this person. I've been dealing with this part of myself for a long time now.

I really can't imagine coming out so young, and so publicly, but I wish he didn't have to make the sex part (he defends his late mom for being against her children having gay relationships due, in part, to the promiscuity of her gay friends) such a negative.

Still, handled very well, and I think he is in a tough spot trying to make sure his mom's fans don't think of her as anti-gay, and don't think of him as going to hell.
