I was in love with vinyl — albums, 12"s and singles. Collected them, adored the sleeves. When they were all but discontinued, it was an early (and now, with perspective, quite inconsquentially initially) painful ch-ch-ch-change that took me totally by surprise.

Then I got over it, and I now can't believe anyone would bother with vinyl albums.

But, music lovers and other hipsters, if you've got room in your heart and in your apartment for vinyl, it makes sense to stock up on the best: Annie Lennox's terrific solo albums Diva (1992) and Medusa (1995)are coming to vinyl in March!
