EXTRATV: Complete list of 2018 Golden Globes Award winners. Timothée Chalamet got screwed like that peach.
TWITTER: Natalie Portman skewered the Hollywood Foreign Press for failing to nominate Greta Gerwig in the Director - Motion Picture category, noting acidly, And here are the all-male nominees. To be fair, she wasn't simply complaining about a lack of women, she was underscoring the fact that Gerwig had been overlooked even though her film, Lady Bird, received many other nominations. In fact, it won Motion Picture - Musical or Comedy and Actress - Musical or Comedy, and yet failed to earn a nod for its director?!
Thank you #natalieportman for calling out the fact there were no female director nominees at tonight's #GoldenGlobes2018 pic.twitter.com/P2ExkARRwQ Special shout-out to #gretagerwig for #LadyBird and #pattyjenkins for #WonderWoman #womeninfilm #SupportIndieFilm #wif

P.S. I saw Lady Bird. I liked it a lot. I think it's overrated. It's a very fine coming-of-age film, but I wouldn't say it was the best film in that category. Still, the HFP clearly adored it, so I think it's absurd to overlook its director. Why won't we just give directors the awards their films win along with producers?

New York Times does not use Rita Moreno’s name, instead calls her “a guest.” Rita Moreno is one of 12 EGOTs in history - she has won an Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, and Tony. pic.twitter.com/gXGPsppZUt

TWITTER: Quite a few people brought up the allegation that Kirk Douglas, 101, who was honored a the Golden Globes with a standing ovation, raped Natalie Wood when she was a teenager. Seemed an odd choice to bring him out on the very night so many were championing #TIMESUP and #MeToo, thought I imagine most in the room haven't heard the persistentt, decades-old rumor. Will anyone in Wood's family now bring it up?
Also, he probably didn't really singlehandedly end the Hollywood Blacklist.
A particularly bad year for a Kirk Douglas tribute #goldenglobes

TWITTER: Winner James Franco invited Tommy Wiseau to join him onstage, but blocked him from speaking; probably a wise idea. Aren't we going to be reading some scathing, well-researched piece on Wiseau in the near future? It was a great movie, but it did not endear me to that guy.
I’m 90 percent certain Tommy Wiseau thinks he directed THE DISASTER ARTIST. pic.twitter.com/AKwWQNQNGI
