HUFF POST: Jared Kushner was apparently warned by U.S. officials about his wife Ivanka's friendship with Wendi Deng Murdoch, FOX media mogul Rupert Murdoch's wife. She was considered a potential conduit for the interests of the Chinese government. Is there no quasi-enemy of the U.S. the Trumps don't prefer to liberals?

MIAMI.COM: Love & Hip Hop Miami star Prince addresses Black Twitter's assertion that he must be gay:
It’s the tone of my voice. I knew that was going to happen. I knew Black Twitter was going to roast me ... It’s a stigma I’ve been dealing with my whole life. I’m not really worried about it ... If they knew the level of women that I deal with their mind would be blown.

NYT: The New York Times is not having that ludicrous story about how that anonymous woman's bad date with Aziz Ansari was “sexual assault”:
To judge from social media reaction to Grace’s story, they also see a flagrant abuse of power in this sexual encounter. Yes, Mr. Ansari is a wealthy celebrity with a Netflix show. But he had no actual power over Grace — professionally or otherwise. And lumping him in with the same movement that brought down men who ran movie studios and forced themselves on actresses, or the factory floor supervisors who demanded sex from women workers, trivializes what #MeToo first stood for.

BOYCULTURE: Remember my post about gay-porn actor Scott Sedgewick asking where he may be today? (Linked.) Well, a reader chimed in with some info:
I got quite a surprise reading Boy Culture today. Because the name Scott Sedgewick rings a big bell for me. I invented it. Pleasure Beach was my first film. I wrote and produced it. And, by the way, it was actually shot on film. It was also the first gay adult feature to receive a Best Picture, Screenplay, and a few other awards, from any organization. So I'm pretty proud of it.
When it came time to create the credits, I was reading a book about Edie Sedgewick, one of Warhol's girls. And her erratic life just seemed like a perfect mirror of Scott's rambunctious personality. I think he's the only actor I've ever worked with who had to have an assigned babysitter. Ten days was just way too much for his ADHD to handle.
But he's also one of the best untrained actors I've ever worked with. His character was the comic relief in the story, and he nailed it. He just was that cute, goofy surfer kid I had written. He came to rehearsals, knew his lines, and never seemed to be under the influence of drugs. I saw him a few times after the wrap. He did come to the premier. (Searchlights and everything). His wind blown hair, black and white silhouette image, was on 500 one-sheets plastered all over Hollywood. So I like to think that PB was one of the fun highlights of his life.
