Above: Hump Day came early. And stayed.
THR: Nate Berkus & husband Jeremiah Brent, the stars of Nate & Jeremiah by Design, were honored with this year's Murray-Reese Family Award. Armie Hammer was on hand to deliver the trophy. During their speech, Brent said:
“The nicest things that a kid said to us once was, ‘It’s so nice to watch a show where two men could kiss that’s not about two men kissing.’ The normalcy of our story was the intention behind our show."
The event, hosted by Alec Mapa, raised over $378K for the Family Equality Council.
Dombroski (Images via family photos)
CNN: Authorities in Bermuda have found the body of missing 19-year-old American student Mark Dombroski in a moat. He had gone missing while in the island nation for a rugby tournament, and had been traveling with family. No cause of death has been released.
JOE.MY.GOD.: He founded an order based on male chastity, so of course Rev. C. Frank Phillips has now been removed for improper sexual conduct with men.
ABC NEWS: Melania Trump had the balls to show up for a meeting with tech titans to talk about the bullying problem with social media, even though her husband makes up names for his enemies like Pocahontas on Twitter every goddamned day. Despicable woman.
NYP: Aubrey O'Day had a fling with Donald Trump Jr. while he was married, and while he was an advisor on Celebrity Apprentice. Nice how this is being treated as juicy gossip, and that we're back to of-course-powerful-men-bang-less-powerful-babes when gee, whiz, shouldn't this be a #MeToo? Isn't the power differential such that she couldn't consent? I guess when the woman's a slut and isn't complaining, the power differential isn't considered anymore.
Loved the show (Image via Torch Song)
NEWNOWNEXT: Richie Jackson has been waiting to produce Torch Song on Broadway for 36 years — and now, he's getting his chance. Look, Ma, no Harvey! My review of this production when it was off-Broadway here.
