Today, at his summit with Vladimir Putin in the wake of proof that Russia meddled in the 2016 U.S. elections (to his benefit), Trump stood beside Putin and castigated the Democrats and the media — but praised Putin and Russia.

TRUMP: "Even during tensions of the Cold War...the US & Russia were able to maintain a strong dialogue. Our relationship has never been worse than it is now. However, that changed as of about 4 hours ago. I really believe that."

Putin then criticized America in his own statement, unchallenged by his lapdog. 

Trump on election interference: "President Putin was extremely strong and powerful in his denial today."

And hey, the advice that we vote him out is all well and good, but considering how boxed in he must feel personally as we barrel toward the midterms, is it not highly likely that Trump will seek to do something (or cause something to be done) in a hail-mary effort to save his own skin?
