CHULO Underwear is honored to announce that its official S/S 2019 NYFW runway show, ¡Pa'lante! will be a staged as a benefit for Puerto Rico at the iconic Nuyorican Poets Cafe, 236 East Third Street between Aves B and C on Saturday, September 8, 2018.
Proceeds raised will be donated to Guagua Solidaria and Finca Conciencia in Puerto Rico and Vieques as we support the Puerto Rican people in their struggle to gain food sovereignty and sustainability.
This community-focused, but super sexy show will be a celebration of culture and beauty and love and charity with celebrity models, guest performers, a raffle, vendors, fundraising, grassroots activists and leaders, indigenous artists, and, yes, even more fundraising.
The VIP meet-and-greet begins at 8 pm. General Admission starts at 9 pm. The After-Party begins at 11 pm.
The one-and-only Caridad de la Luz aka La Bruja will be back again this season to set the runway on fire with her lyrics and her rhytmic walk as a celebrity poet and model. And, she'll be doing it all on the actual feast night of La Virgen de Caridad de Cobre, oye.
Simply Rob, the super-hunky poet and super-dedicated health educator, will be one of our celebrity models. Other surprise guests just may turn up.
The main show will feature the super-friendly and the amazingly-sexy models of CHULO Underwear who will be packing the heat and bringing it onto the runway on this hot summer night.
