I was out of town for a funeral this weekend, so missed some important events here and elsewhere — the Str8UpGayPorn Awards (I was a judge for the second year), the Hollywood Show and the 25th-anniversary celebration of the NYC institution Lucky Cheng's ...
The city's original and longest-running drag dinner show celebrated its silver anniversary with a gold-plated bash at Stage 48 hosted by emcee-aerialist Paulina the Princess of Power Thursday night.
The night was curated by Tora Dress, an original cast member, and included a poem recited by Josephine Jason, the daughter of the venue's late founder, Hayne Suthon. Suthon died of breast cancer in 2014, so proceeds from Thursday's event will go to The Tutu Project, a breast cancer charity.

The night included appearances by Phaedra Phaded, Nedra Belle, Lailah Lancing, The Real Egypt, TheBoyDiva and more, and served as the launch of Drag Wrestling at Lucky Cheng's.
Looking at some pics from the night, it's clear I missed something special!
