Sen. Susan Collins (R-Maine) surprised no one by announcing she will vote to confirm Kavanaugh. However, what was surprising to most was her arch-supportive tone in his defense, and her citing of conspiracy theories to shame the left while doing so. This woman was never, ever undecided, she just wanted to commandeer everyone's attention for a self-serving, hour-long spiel.
