WHITNEY MUSEUM: Man, I can not wait to see the massive new Andy Warhol retrospective Andy Warhol — From A to B and Back Again. It's up at the Whitney now through March 31, 2019. Choice quote:

True, and so Warholian. Plus, it reminds me that when I was a kid I would ask my mom what to draw and she would say, “Flies.”
NYT: Mississippi voted 54/46 to send unapologetic racist Cindy Hyde-Smith to the Senate. But if there are any silver linings, the margin shows progress and she's only there until 2021, not a full, six-year term. Still, she's the stupidest motherfucker in the Senate, and that is saying a lot since many of those people think if it's cold outside today that means global warming is a hoax. P.S. Mississippi is ranked #50 among states in the area of education.
SALT LAKE TRIBUNE: A gay-rights pioneer in Salt Lake City moves from the Salt Lake City Council to the Utah Senate.
