As captured by @PlatanoMan on Twitter, this white woman decided an Asian woman had apparently encroached upon her space in the crowded NYC subway during morning rush hour, so she lashed out at her, even resorting to taking out an umbrella to use as a weapon. 

Along the way, she called a good Samaritan “retarded” and the woman she took exception to a “Chink.”

However, she got more than she bargained for ...

UPDATE: The woman arrested is 40-year-old Anna Lushchinskaya.
