VARIOUS: According to multiple reports from friends, the stunningly 6a00d8341c2ca253ef00e54f80b83c8834-800wibeautiful and warm-hearted model and actor Andrew Ley (second from right in embedded photo, also pictured above), who appeared in Eating Out 2 (2006), has succumbed to cancer. I have no further details, but will always remember how sweet he was when we met and talked at Outfest over 10 years ago. Much love to his friends and family.

JOE.MY.GOD.: The good news on the gay front from Africa is rare, but let's rejoice for Angola, which has decriminalized homosexuality and banned discrimination based on sexual orientation in one fell swoop.

HUFF POST: Clarence Thomas's wife Ginni is an absolute right-wing loon, and yet was received in a group at the White House (months after a private dinner) by Trump so she and her pals could slam trans people (for existing, apparently) and even advocate for expelling women from the armed services.

VIMEO: Only Trumpets, a short by Tristan Scott-Behrends, is about femme for femme love, and a pretty biting condemnation of heteronormative and sexually compulsive trends. Give it a shot if you think porn is designed to make us hate our bodies and you're sometimes sick of everyone IDing as a bear, a twink, a daddy or something else we have all agreed is a normal thing to be.. It was named Best of the Fest at Outfest.

KENNETH IN THE (212): When you're a sucker for a stache — figuratively or literally.

EXTRATV: The revelations from Leaving Neverland — the doc about Michael Jackson's alleged sexual abuse of two kids, including choroegrapher Wade Robson — are sickening and detailed.
