Madonna has released a formal teaser for her “God Control” music video, showing it to be a sort of continuation of “Deeper and Deeper,” but a more elaborately correct restaging of Studio 54.

The video also shows the Queen of Pop's character and others gunned down in the club — shades of Pulse and other tragedies.

The teaser ends with Madonna intoning, “Guns need to be made illegal.”
