I loved character actor (and Broadway baby) René Auberjonois for his flouncy performance in the Faye Dunaway thriller Eyes of Laura Mars as a queen who had a date with an ice pick and was terrific at impersonating Lloyd Bridges.
The actor — far more famous for the movie version of M*A*S*H (Father Mulcahy) and for his roles on TV's Benson and Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, died today, Sunday, at 79.
