OMG.BLOG! (WORK UNFRIENDLY): The many, many times Russell Tovey has been starkers.
TWITTER: Finally! The Washington Redskins have announced they will retire their blatantly racist name and logo:
On July 3rd, we announced the commencement of a thorough review of the team's name. That review has begun in earnest. As part of this process, we want to keep our sponsors, fans and community apprised of our thinking as we go forward.
Today, we are announcing we will be retiring the Redskins name and logo upon completion of this review.
Wonder what they'll switch the name to?
AP: Terrible news for civilization — Poland's arch-right-wing, anti-LGBTQ president has won a second term, albeit narrowly.
What is her point? English is not the official language of America. Move on, bitch. (Image via video still)
TOWLEROAD: It's unimaginable — to me — that people are this vile, and I grew up knowing people were basically bad, with exceptions. Dianna Ploss, a New Hampshire radio host, actually filmed herself insulting a group of landscapers for daring to speak Spanish in America, asking if any were “illegal.” When a man arrived to defend them, she crowed:
Okay, so this guy decided he’s gonna come over here and be a social justice warrior. Because he’s a black man. He’s gonna protect the brown man from this white woman … white privilege, because she happened to walk by and heard this guy talking to all of these guys doing this work, in Spanish.
She was so proud of her handiwork that she posted the self-made video. And got fired. All of her outrageous act is viewable here.
JOE.MY.GOD.: For some reason, Chuck Woolery, who is a former game show host with no medical expertise, expects us to believe him that the CDC and most doctors are deliberately lying to us about COVID-19 in order to keep the economy suppressed and to help defeat Trump. It's lunacy. So, of course, Donald Trump retweeted it.

I prefer the above response from Pete Buttigieg. (P.S. Woolery is also notoriously anti-LGBTQ.)
THE HILL: NYC is doing COVID-19 right — we had zero deaths for the first time since the pandemic hit. Many more masks, closures and much more social distancing here than what I'm observing (remotely) in many other places in the U.S. And we're not at all perfect! Many are still maskless, and risks are taken. But making an effort makes a measurable difference.
EXTRATV: Kelly Preston, just 57, lost a secret, two-year battle with breast cancer Sunday, according to her husband, superstar John Travolta, 66. Hollywood reacts.
CNN: Goya CEO has doubled down on support — even love — for Trump, leaving many of his company's loyal customers stunned.
THE BLAST: Britney Spears is not sound, mentally, but has tried to reassure her much crazier fans that she is not in dire need of help. Instead, they are responding by circulating conspiracy theories that she has a 911 on her eyelashes in her latest post. No, really! And remember, she is 39 years of age, so her fans are not delusional teens.
CBR: Velma Dinkley of Scooby-Doo, Where Are You! fame is, in fact, a lesbian! Well, at least she is in the Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated 2010 incarnation of the iconic show. I'll take it. Worth noting: The same voice actor, Nicole Jaffe, who has since become an agent at William Morris, voiced Velma back in 1969 and on the 2010 series. She's married to a dude.
Daniel moved out July 12. (Image via video still)
YOUTUBE: World-famous gay YouTuber Joey Graceffa and his partner have announced they broke up during the COVID-19 lockdown, and have still been living together. What do you think about the video?
GR8ERDAYS: Wow! Sir Patrick Stewart turns 80 today. More b'days:
