The Douglas NV Dems released this side-by-side comparison, showing one of the most famous racist episodes in recent U.S. history vs. what happened in Douglas, Nevada, yesterday.
In July, the local library issued a fairly generic BLM statement, which was countered by the local Sheriff Dan Coverley, who said:
Due to your support of Black Lives Matter and the obvious lack of support or trust with the Douglas County Sheriff's Office, please do not feel the need to call 911 for help. I wish you good luck with disturbances and lewd behavior, since those are just some of the recent calls my office has assisted you with in the past.
Though the sheriff and the library had since spoken, at least superficially mending fences, a BLM protest on Saturday was countered by 400 armed white supremacists, who worked together to drown out the speakers, as seen in the photo.
Read this riveting firsthand account, which describes a mob vs. a handful of juvenile protesters.
