Cissie Graham Lynch, the granddaughter of late anti-Semite Billy Graham, spent part of her primetime RNC speech denouncing trans rights, saying:

Democrats pressured schools to allow boys [sic] to compete in girls' sports and use girls' locker rooms.

This tired fearmongering has to end. The trans community can't take another four years of normalized homophobia wrapped in Bible pages.

In a happy coincidence, a court sided with Gavin Grimm on Wednesday, ruling 2-1 that his right to use the bathroom of his choice is protected by U.S. law.

HRC responded to Lynch's remarks, saying:

What is particularly shameful is the targeting of some of the most vulnerable in our community: transgender kids. Cissie Graham Lynch’s comments were despicable and must be widely condemned by anyone who claims to be an ally of LGBTQ people.

In spite of the embrace of faith by Biden/Harris during the DNC, Graham Lynch lied, claiming that religious freedom has been under attack since Obama/Biden, saying a Biden/Harris “leaves no room for people of faith”:
