Modus Vivendi's Jeans Line has been brought to life by models Frank Martins and Darién J. Teller, in images by Gastohn Barrios.

Now, a little Q&A time with the MV boys.

Think of it as a longer version of the Playboy Bunny centerfold quiz ...

Q: In ancient Greece, people believed that you have to care for the three most important aspects of the self: body, mind and soul. What are your daily habits to support and evolve yourself?

Frank: I try to take care of myself through physical care with a lot of training, and I also practice meditation and yoga. I also watch my diet.

Darién: I take good care of my diet and I usually train seven times a week. I follow a rigorous routine of body and mind work through reading and self-knowledge.

Q: Do you believe people can change their habits, their physical appearance, etc.?

Frank: To change, you have to make the decision to do it. I do believe that everyone can change and improve. It just depends on you.

Darién: Yes, I believe that everyone can change their habits and everything that is proposed. You only have to define a goal and carry it out at any cost, if that is good for you.

Q: Who’s your favorite person of all time? Why does he/she inspire you?

Frank: My father is my favorite person because he always sets the example for me to move forward and shows me that it is never too late to start any project.

Darién: My parents. They are the example to follow and who I always try to turn to. Family is everything to me, unfortunately I can't share much time because we live many miles apart — they are in Argentina and I am in Mexico, but when I can visit them, I try to be with them as long as possible.

Q: What are the benefits of yoga and meditation in your life?

Frank: It is a practice that brings well-being, both mentally and physically. I take time for it, a pause, to be able to think things better and try to see them from a point of view that perhaps at first I was not able. And also, yoga gives me flexibility to have a better body expression.

Q: Any causes you support? How people can help others?

Frank: I try to behave well socially. I think we would all help others a lot by trying not to annoy or not meddle in what is not our concern, trying to let people live freely and care about the well-being of those around us.

Darién: I collaborate with a NGO that fights for LGBTIQ rights and support patients with HIV.

Q: Have you changed your daily habits to support the environment?

Frank: Yes! I separate the garbage into organic and non-organic. Keep public roads clean. Taking good care of the amount of water I use.

Q: Are you currently in a relationship? What do you value in a person?

Frank: No, I am not in any relationship. What I value the most in others is respect and sincerity.

Darién: Yes, I am currently in a relationship. What I value most in my partner is sincerity, tranquility and good humor; I must have a happy person close by.

Q: Favorite movies, books and music?

Frank: Favorite movie: Gladiator. Favorite book: Man's Search for Meaning. Music: I prefer Argentine Cumbia.

Darién: Favorite movie: Inception. Favorite book: Golden Book of Saint Germain. Music: Deep house

Q: What do you do to stay connected with others?

Frank: Today, thanks to social networks, we can get closer to those who are further away. And in person, I try to make meetings with friends, drink with mates, have barbecue dinners and drink some red wine.

Darién: Right now that is very difficult due to the pandemic, so I have to turn to the internet to be able to do it. But if not, I try to always be in contact with my friends.

Q: What are you passions in life?

Frank: From a sporting point of view, I am passionate about football or soccer, which is what I have been most passionate about since I can remember, both playing it and watching it. And today I am very attracted to art, such as theater. I'm actually doing drama classes and I really like it!

Q: How has COVID-19 changed you?

Frank: I think this pandemic has made us all dizzy — it has been a blow. Unfortunately, now we cannot get together to train or go out with friends, or meet in a bar or go for a drink. You can't even walk with other people. I have been concentrating more on meditation lately, so I can be calmer and focus my head on productive things.

Darién: I think it has done it to the same extent that it has affected everyone, one must restrict contact with others and there are fewer jobs and social activity is also almost nil. For the rest, I think it has served to value more the things that we could do before all this happened.

Q: What makes you happy?

Darién: What makes me happier is to know that the people I love are well and happy, that makes me feel good as well.
