OMG.BLOG! (WORK UNFRIENDLY): Dutch Temptation Island stud Alex Maas very, very nude.

ROLLING STONE: Rolling Stone has blown up its 500 Albums of All Time list, and man, I wish they'd blow this new one up already. I mean, a 2019 album by Harry Styles is one notch below ... anything ... by Linda Ronstadt? It's probably a good update in that it allows for the fact that rock is not the be-all, end-all, adding hip-hop; sometimes-shunned rock like Blondie by Blondie and Beauty and the Beat by the Go-Go's; and even pop like the Pet Shop Boys masterpiece Actually. I just think it's ridiculous to add anything after, say, 2010; no time to absorb the impact.

As a Madonna nut, I am happy she is one of the few acts to warrant three inclusions: Like a Prayer ranks #331, Ray of Light is at #222 and The Immaculate Collection is at #138. I think the most egregious absences from her oeuvre are Madonna and Confessions on a Dance Floor. They evicted her Music from the list after it cracked the 500 last time, so she's actually been demoted.

KENNETH IN THE (212): Sexy ad break.

DAILY BEAST: Please, please watch both seasons of Hulu's PEN15 — I beg of you. Season 2 has a great, subtle subplot about a tween coming to terms with being gay, and the entire show is brilliantly and painfully well-observed. Golden Age of TV is now.

NYMAG: Trump privately said “Jews are only in it for themselves.”

HUFF POST: Protests in major cities followed the outrageous decision to charge one of three cops involved in Breonna Taylor's shooting death not for the shots that killed her in her own bed, but for the shots that missed other people.

NYT: Yes, yes, I know many are so burned by 2016 that they refuse to listen to polls, even now that Biden's polling is incredibly more positive than Hillary's, showing him at 50%+ oftentimes, and doing well in many important states. But another measure of success (so far!) is the fact that Texas, which Trump won by over 9% in 2016, is now included in battleground polls — and the latest one has him within 3% of Trump there. (Also, nice to see him shown ahead in Iowa.)

POLITICO: Two retired four-star generals who served under Trump have now endorsed Biden:

We love our country. Unfortunately, we also fear for it. The COVID-19 pandemic has proven America needs principled, wise, and responsible leadership. America needs a president who understands, as President Harry S. Truman said, that “the buck stops here.”

YOUTUBE: Cindy McCain is not just passively endorsing Biden, she is out there giving interviews on his behalf:

BLOOMBERG: Trump has refused to commit to a peaceful transfer of power if he loses, prompting Biden to ask, What country are we in? That is a question many of us have been asking daily for almost four years. Biden made his comments after a campaign stop in North Carolina:

Adam Schiff has called on Republicans of good faith to resign in the wake of Trump's autocratic remarks. Success! All zero of them did.

TPM: In his rush to find dirt on the Bidens, it appears that Ron Johnson accidentally revealed more evidence of Trump corruption.

CNN: Dr. Birx, who became a scarf-wearing Trump toady, is now confessing to confidantes that she is distressed by how the COVID-19 commission has unfolded and may quit.
