How it started ... how it's going! (Images via Twitter & KETV)
Brandon Straka, the preening head of the Walk Away (from Democrats) movement, the same gay man who this very week posted a side-by-side of Kayleigh McEnany and Jen Psaki and posited of Republicans, “We're just hotter,” has been arrested for his alleged part in the Capitol riot.
Straka, 44, was collared by the FBI Monday and booked for impeding a law enforcement officer during civil disorder, knowingly entering and remaining on restricted grounds without lawful authority and/or engaging in disorderly conduct within proximity to a restricted building to impede official functions, and engaging in disorderly conduct with intent to disturb a hearing before Congress.
The narcissistic conspiracy theorist is highly unlikely to become one of those people charged who isn't eventually punished (rumors are flying that not all those arrested will ultimately be tried), considering he was seen and heard inside the Capitol urging everyone to go forward, and, according to the complaint:
... Straka is heard shouting, “Take it away from him,” and others in the crowd then yelled, “Take the shield!” As several people in the crowd grabbed the officer’s shield, Straka yelled, “Take it! Take it!”
Big change of scenery for a man who was just in Georgia campaigning for Kelly Loeffler — who he now admits he didn't even support. He also blamed her for getting fat. Charming man.
