Where the hell was the oppo research?!
According to a CNN investigation (in other words, someone took a beat to actually read her Facebook account), Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Georgia) repeatedly liked or even commented approvingly on QAnon Facebook posts calling for the executions of prominent Democrats and members of the FBI, all of whom she agreed were members of the “Deep State.”
When one commenter suggested lynching Obama and Hillary, she replied:
Stage is being set. Players are being put in place. We must be patient. This must be done perfectly or liberal judges would let them off.
She also signed off on a suggestion of shooting Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi.
In response to CNN's investigation, Taylor Greene said:
Over the years, I've had teams of people manage my pages. Many posts have been liked. Many posts have been shared. Some did not represent my views. Especially the ones that CNN is about to spread across the internet.
Can you imagine the defense being that Taylor Greene — until weeks ago a private citizen of no distinction — has had teams of people managing her pages, and that she isn't responsible for the actions on a page bearing her name?
Reminds me a lot of how Ron Paul was found to have edited an outrageously racist newsletter, and then said he hadn't actually read all the stuff he published.
She had previously been exposed as a mass shooting conspiracy theorist, too.
This is footage of her hounding a teenager, David Hogg, weeks after he survived the Parkland shooting:
.@mtgreenee, is this you harassing @davidhogg111 weeks after the Parkland shooting, that my daughter was killed in & he was in? Calling him a coward for ignoring your insanity. I will answer all of your questions in person. Get ready to record again.pic.twitter.com/aQjL74x7kh— Fred Guttenberg (@fred_guttenberg) January 27, 2021
Prior to the election, Vice President Harris said “dude's gotta go” of Trump; now, that mantra should be “chick's gotta go.”
