Sheldon Adelson, one of the Top 10 richest men formerly alive, died late Monday at 87 after suffering from non-Hodgkin's lymphome. Old Sheldon's death was announced by his grieving wife Dr. Miriam Sheldon who, along with her Presidential Medal of Freedom, survives him.
Miriam remembered him as a patriot and proud Jew. Most will remember him as a casino magnate who threw money at Trump and other Republican candidates, including pumping $75M into the 2020 race at the last possible second in order to batter Biden and prop up Trump. It failed.
If you want to gag, read Miriam's gushing about her late benefactor:
Sheldon and I grew up on coasts: him in Boston, me in Haifa. Together we sailed across oceans, pushed back the Pearl River Delta to help develop Macao's future, recreated the Venice lagoon canals in Las Vegas. To me, Sheldon had power and depth and mystery like the sea. His devotion lifted me up, like waves, through challenges both personal and professional.
Her reference to Macao is laughable — she and her hubby raped that place while extracting as much money as possible via casinos, which were pumped up by Communist China's corrupt officials!
Ugh, lady, you've got the money, you altered the course of history for the worse — just take it and go.
