Australians Chris and Neil (inset) — self-described obsessed Madonna fans since 1983 — tied the knot with what I must say is one of the only Madonna-themed weddings of which I have ever heard!

Calling it The Virgin Wedding, the two exchanged vows with anything but solemnity, paying homage to their shared worship of Madonna, a love that seems to have thawed out what may never have been particularly scared, and what I doubt was ever measurably cold — they seem too warm and wild to fit that description.

It's lovely watching the video below of the drag artist because it really shows off how game their guests were — family and friends from different generations — some of whom probably could not have imagined attending a gay wedding, let alone this gay a wedding, back in the day!

They were going to hold the reception outdoors like the nuptials, but I think it feels so good inside, don't you?

Presumably, everybody danced and sang — everybody got up and did their thang.

Check out the drag performance of “Like a Virgin” that was the centerpiece — including a mid-song wardrobe function. BeBe Gunn let it all hang out, except for one thing, as is customary.
