Kathy Griffin has announced she is battling lung cancer — but she has a positive attitude and is hopeful for the best outcome.

According to the legendary comic, she will lose half of her left lung in order to stave off what is a stage 1 diagnosis. She does not foresee needing chemo or radiation.

Though she sounds optimistic, it's such a bad time to suddenly have a serious lung-capacity issue. She is, of course, fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

Wishing her the best. She is a ballsy gem.
