The terrific song “Sparkle” has taken on a new layer of poignance with the death today, at age 76, of Labelle-ter Sarah Dash. She was featured on this track by my friend Ari Gold back in 2011 — and Ari also died this year:

The video is also notable for appearances by trans divas Laverne Cox and Mila Jam. Such a delightfully uplifting track.
