The Golden Globes were announced on social media — and that's it. No host, no broadcast, no stars, no ceremony. Just ... tweets.

Yet, it was the most entertaining awards show in years, clearly run by an intern whose grasp on the English language was enough to be impressive, and not enough to be, well, fluent.

In announcing winners, cutesy turns of phrase were employed. The worst was when West Side Story (deservedly) won in the Musical or Comedy category and the intern wrote:

If laughter is the best medicine, West Side Story has the cure for what ails you!

Um. People died in this movie. This is a musical, a heart-wrenching one, not a comedy. People reacted, so they, um, fixed it:
