NYT: The monkeypox outbreak is disproportionately affecting gay men and men who have sex with men — is it another example of society's/government's disregard for icky gays, or just another example of bureaucratic incompetence? The New York Times profiles men who had the disease, which has been presenting with extremely painful lesions, most of whom say there was little or no treatment available.

TWITTER: Former FDA Commissioner Dr. Scott Gottlieb is pessimistic about the U.S. response to monkeypox, says the window has closed as far as containing this virus. Yep, another pandemic.
