RIP tWitch + Instagram vs. Bulges + Mexican Restaurant vs. Gay PDAs + Stingy Musk Dodges Rent + MORE! — 12-PACK Comments (0)

ABOVE: He's in his feels!

BELOW: Keep reading for a Meta mega-bulge argument, tWitch takes his own life, Elon Musk is a rent-dodger and more ...

FACEBOOK: Mark's tame underwear pic was deemed too sexy for Instagram. His underwear isn't mesh or sheer, it just reveals a tame outline of the fact that he has a penis. Why is this offensive?

Drew-droege-boycultureFACEBOOK: This is insanity! Comic actor Drew Droege was on a date at El Compadre, a popular Mexican joint in Echo Park in L.A., when some harmless PDAs were flagged by a staffer who bluntly told them they can't do that in a family restaurant. In L.A. In 2022. His post:

Last night, I went on a really nice date. With a really sad, disgusting, hateful moment in the middle. We went to El Compadre in Echo Park. The food and our server were both great. We paid and had a bit of time before catching a show downtown. Finishing up our second drinks, we had our arms around each other and kissed a few times. A manager approached our table and said something to the affect of, “you guys can’t do that here.” We were confused at first, but then he very firmly stated, “this is a family restaurant.” I asked if anyone had complained to him, as we looked around and only saw happy straight couples eating, laughing, doing the same thing we were doing. He threw his hands in front of us and said, “I don’t care if you’re the President of the United States, we don’t allow your behavior here.” We promptly got up and left. We were genuinely shocked. In 2022. In Echo Park, CA. At 6:30pm on a Monday. The chilling and pointed tone of “we’re a family restaurant”. “We don’t allow your behavior here.” Ever wonder why gay people often seem nervous? Why do we walk faster? Why do we work so hard to please others and be good little citizens in this world? I will never be back. I encourage you all to find another place too. Also after this happened to us, we went outside and made out in their parking lot. El Compadre

TMZ: How awful — tWitch, Ellen DeGeneres's beloved talk-show sidekick — has taken his own life.

OMG.BLOG!: That guy from the Chainsmokers has a great butt.

CBS NEWS: T.J. House, a former MLB pitcher, has come out as gay.

JOE.MY.GOD.: I really can't believe this, but wow: Log Cabin Republicans joined armed militia members in harassing a holiday drag show in San Antonio, Texas. The idea that drag = grooming is completely and utterly anti-queer. For even right-wing queer people to engage in spreading that smear is unforgivable. People are doing to die over this shit.

I guess I was the only surprised one.

PEOPLE: Though it seemed fair to question Grant Wahl's death in Qatar immediately following his criticism of the thin-skinned nation, it is now confirmed he died of an aortic aneurysm. His wife wrote on Substack:

The chest pressure he experienced shortly before his death may have represented the initial symptoms. No amount of CPR or shocks would have saved him. His death was unrelated to COVID. His death was unrelated to vaccination status. There was nothing nefarious about his death.

His brother, who initially cried foul, now agrees.

AOL: The CDC believes long COVID has killed 3,500 Americans.

KENNETH IN THE (212): Ass man's asshole.

DAILY BEAST: Elon Musk — a deadbeat rent-dodger — told people to vote GOP this year. Then, he didn't vote.

TWITTER: The owner of the Twitter account @ElonJet, which tracks Elon Musk's jet's movements, announced he had been shadowbanned — something Musk is supposedly against — this week. Now, he's been outright suspended. So much for free speech.

TWITTER: Indefatigable Dolly Parton, buoyed by her initial refusal of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame honor and eventual acceptance of it, is in the studio cutting — what else? — a proper rock album. She's working with Elton John, Mick Jagger and Debbie Harry, for starters.
