JOE.MY.GOD.: Another step backward for LGBTQ rights and visibility — the New York Rangers had promoted a Pride Night that was to have included the players wearing rainbow jerseys to be auctioned for charity. At the last second, the players decided not to wear them. No announcement, no accountability. Fuck queer charity. And they sold tickets promoting this! Even a writer at The New York Post called the organization out over this travesty.
