ESPN: Czech soccer star comes out as gay.

GLAAD: GLAAD is pointing out a marked decline in LGBTQ representation in Super Bowl ads, but did offer kudos for these four:

TEEN VOGUE: As a musician, Rihanna is a good capitalist.

BBC: Brianna Ghey, a 16-year-old trans girl, was stabbed to death in the U.K., and her alleged killers are two 15-year-olds. So far, police say there is no evidence it was a hate crime predicated on her status as trans, but she had quite a few followers on social media and they do believe it was a targeted murder — taking place in broad daylight in a busy public park.

Krypto-kings-nude-boyculture-assOMG.BLOG!: Apparently, this Norwegian series is blah, but it does have some ass.

LGBTQ NATION: No public figure has fallen from grace more spectacularly than Roseanne Barr. She was a liberal icon, then went Green (which is supposedly even more to the left, but that movement gave us Kyrsten Sinema, sooo ...) and is now rabidly right-wing. Her new stand-up special — FOR FOX NATION — looks and sounds pathetic. Her definition of a woman, by the way, presupposes that in order to be a woman, one must have given birth. We, as gay men, tend to roast our icons for the little things — nothing about Roseanne is little, it's one huge disappointment after another. Also, sounds unfunny. Conservatives are rarely funny. I can think of exceptions, but not many.

Who would have thought a Tom Arnold stand-up special in 2023 would sound infinitely more appealing to me?! I actually stood in line for Roseanne's autograph in Chicago 30+ years ago.

AUTOSTRADDLE: “Mother has lived — what can I say?” Autostraddle's Black Elders Interview Project continues. I'm all in for any elders interviews.

NYT: China's been spying on the U.S. via balloon for years — since the Trump era.

AWARDS WATCH: Somehow, Margaret Qualley has been cast as Ginger Rogers.

HUFF POST: Partial release of Georgia grand jury info in Trump election-interference case spells (more ... enough?) trouble for Trump.
