LA PRIDE: Megan Thee Stallion and Mariah Carey are playing LA Pride! in the Park this June!
EBAY: Speaking of Mariah, you want this.
EW: Christina Aguilera, citing a love affair with her (checks notes) own vagina, is launching a lube line. How has Madonna missed this boat?
THR: Was veteran Marvel Studios exec Victoria Alonso really fired because she breached her contract by working on Argentina, 1985 ... or because she refused to blur Pride references in Ant-Man & the Wasp: Quantumania so the company could make a few more bucks in Kuwait? What bad form that Marvel has shit-canned one of its most popular and visible execs, a Hispanic lesbian who was at the forefront of pushing back against Don't Say Gay:
Victoria, a gay Latina who had the courage to criticize Disney, was silenced. Then she was terminated when she refused to do something she believed was reprehensible.
It feels like a calculated effort to rid itself of a person with too much integrity to toe the DeSantis line. I'm glad Ant-Man bombed. Let 'em all bomb from now on.
OMG.BLOG!: RIP Paul O'Grady aka Lily Savage, the most important drag presence in the U.K. He died unexpectedly at 67.
BBC: Adidas was set to try to block Black Lives Matter's logo, citing a similarity with its own. The company has wisely backed the fuck off.
KENNETH IN THE (212): Polaroids from the edge. Of the '80s.
BOLTS: Gov. Glenn Youngkin (R) of Virginia is reviving a lifetime ban on voting rights for felons who have served their time. Unless Gov. Youngkin decides, individually, they can vote. Gee, I wonder if he'll favor probably Youngkin voters? Not to mention it's un-American.
TWITTER: Florida is pushing to make it illegal for a trans person to use the bathroom that corresponds to their gender ID. This gent points out that trans people who are passing/happen to conform to the traditional characteristics of their gender ID would probably cause quite a scene if they were to comply with the law.
Florida is trying to pass HB1521 which would criminalize trans people using the bathroom consistent with their gender identity. Trans men like this being would be forced to use the women's restroom and face a risk of violence for following the law.pic.twitter.com/l6eMJ4pK3h

He is just right — laws like this are really about trying to legislate trans people out of existence. They go hand in hand with supposedly woman-protecting anti-trans sports laws. “Oh, it's not fair, just play on your own team!” is nonsense because most trans people won't live near a place where enough other trans people exist to form a team. So in that case, sports laws effectively rob trans people of the ability to play sports at all. Bathroom laws step things up a notch, as one can survive, perhaps with regret, without sports, but everyone has to pee. The next step will be making it illegal to be trans in public, and we have already seen some laws trying to force trans kids to de-transition until they're 18. If you support any of this, you're helping this country on a path to making it illegal to be trans, period, and you are supporting trans despair and suicide.
BLOOMBERG: Spotify has doled out less than 10% of its $100M diversity fund. Uh, people could probably use that right about now!
GAY CITY NEWS: AIDS denialism is STILL A THING. So we can look forward to decades of reading how COVID was no biggie.
HUFF POST: Talk to me again about how the GOP is for freedom and rights — Idaho is about to criminalize leaving the state to seek abortions.
