RAW STORY: A prominent donor to Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) of Florida killed himself after being accused of having a sexual liaison with an underage girl, and after her dad turned down a large settlement offer to STFU about it. Gee, Kent Stermon MUSTA known Hillary Clinton, right? The Clintons are the ones with mysterious deaths all around them. And he MUSTA been a Biden, right? Biden Crime Family? And he MUSTA done drag, right?! Right? Trans?! Anyone?!

TWITTER (FOLLOW ME ON TWITTER): So, my blog is not 17.5 years old ... it's 19+ years old! I forgot I started on Blogger, perhaps because I really just used Blogger to get the hang of publishing online, and to dump some content I had that wasn't original to what became my blog. My first post was about Debbie Harry. But my next post was a group of (long — I used to be teased for being long-winded) gay-movie reviews, and the reason I am reminded of this is that NINETEEN YEARS LATER, on a blog nobody knows about or visits, someone discovered these reviews and flagged them as objectionable. And Blogger agreed, and wrote me to say so.
The person who did this could be a gay asshole with an ax to grind, but if not, we are truly going backward. Anything gay or queer is becoming objectionable and faces being pushed into the dark again, like in the bad old days. This flag should have been laughed off.
them.: Speaking of going backward, Twitter has quietly ended the option to complain about misgendering and deadnaming, because Elon Musk is a POS with a trans daughter who rejected his wealth and authority.
CHIMERA OBSCURA: Podcaster Gil Roth was set to record with gay-publishing legend Michael Denneny at his home, which directly led to the editor's body being discovered several days after he apparently died in his sleep. Roth decided to record the podcast anyway, including laudatory comments about Denneny's career, as well as his own shaken assessment of the events leading up to the discovery that Denneny had died at age 80.
HUFF POST: FOX chickened out, and settled its Dominion defamation suit for just under $800 million, which is peanuts compared to having to apologize, admit it spewed lies and/or pay more than what this amounts to — a fraction of its annual income. As CNN points out, FOX lost and is pretending they won. Oof — even Bill O'Reilly is bashing his old bosses for the debacle.
WOW REPORT: Former Menudo member Roy Rosselló lends credence to the old rumor that the late Jose Menendez raped young boys, which was part of what his notorious sons — Lyle and Erik — said drove them to murder him (and his wife, their mom):

PEOPLE: Julian Sands's son has all but given him up for dead. It's so chilling to simply disappear like this. I met him at an autograph show, and he seemed like a nice guy. I will always remember seeing him in Vibes, back when I was at the peak of my Cyndi Lauper phase.
GR8ERDAYS: RIP Carol Locatell, 82. She was beyond memorable in the otherwise forgettable Friday the 13th: A New Beginning.
