Helmut Berger, the bisexual sex symbol of the late '60s and '70s who made his biggest splashes in films directed by his lover, Luchino Visconti, has died at 78
He had affairs with some of the biggest names in cinema, and as diverse as Ursula Andress, Tab Hunter and Linda Blair, and exuded a subversive sexuality that was years ahead of the films in which it was captured.
