(Even an increasingly frail Sharon Osbourne thought the segment was too much, and she adores and apologizes for Piers Morgan always.)

TWITTER: Chris Christie's zinger — calling Donald Trump Donald DUCK for ducking the debate — was not exactly delivered smoothly.

P.S. Lagging in the polls, a timid, makeup-happy Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-Florida) actually criticized Trump in Wednesday night's Republican debate.

HUFF POST: I must agree with California Gov. Gavin Newsom (D), who says Mike Pence's idea — executing mass shooters expeditiously — is incredibly stupid. Mass shooters, at least most of them, do their killing expecting to die anyway.
