Jimmy Buffett, Beloved MARGARITAVILLE Singer & Mogul, Dies @ 76 Comments (0)

Jimmy Buffett was one of those entertainers just about everyone seemed to like, and yet he ran a billion-dollar empire and was quite outspoken — he was loudly pro-pot long before it was in fashion and was a major Democratic fundraiser.

Buffett had been ailing since canceling concerts in the spring, and had been in a hospital, but he never talked about what his health issues were.

Buffett's Big 8,  tunes fans expected to hear at just about every live show. They were: “Margaritaville” (1977), “Come Monday” (1974), “Fins” (1979), “Volcano” (1979), “A Pirate Looks at Forty” (1974), “Cheeseburger in Paradise” (1978), “Why Don't We Get Drunk” (1973), and “Changes in Latitudes, Changes in Attitudes” (1977).
