GR8ERDAYS: So sad to read that Peter White, 86, has died. He was the original Alan in The Boys in the Band — both off-Broadway and the 1970 film. I really love that movie, and he plays his character perfectly in it. I met him in 2018 at the show's first time on Broadway, where he told me he was in the same tux he'd worn in the movie!
