Madonna and Kylie Minogue took their collective fans on a nail-biting, cock-teasing ride Thursday night in L.A., where the Queen of Pop was executing her third of five sold-out Celebration Tour shows.

It was wild because Kylie was very visibly in the audience (as was Lenny Kravitz), so everyone assumed she would be the choice as guest judge during the show's “Vogue” ball sketch. Last-second, it was comedian (and Emmy winner) Ali Wong, a good name on any other night ... but on a night like THIS?!

It turned out to be a mind-fuck, as Kylie was instead saved for a part of the show that, until then, had not been used for a guest appearance. Madonna graciously invited her to the stage during an acoustic portion that in the past has been used for a cover of Gloria Gaynor's “I Will Survive” or a stripped down “Express Yourself.” In this case, Madonna and Kylie warmly interacted while covering “I Will Survive” ahead of Madonna leading them into a bit of Kylie's most famous U.S. hit, “Can't Get You Out of My Head.”

I must say they looked adorable together and sounded great, too. Can a studio collab be far behind? 

Oh, maybe just another 40 years.

It was a magical moment, to be sure.
