Anitta, Brazil's biggest star, told Extra she is skipping this year's Met Gala — and it's to be a part of Madonna's massive free concert in Brazil this Saturday:

So, this year, Madonna — I've been to the Met Gala three times. It was so good — I wanna be back next year. But this year, Madonna's doing a concert in Brazil at the end of her tour, Copacabana Beach, it's for more than a million people. We had a song together in Portuguese ... a Brazilian funk song, in her album once, and when I got the invitation, I'm like, “I'm definitely gonna go to that!” That's very historical to my country ... That's the only conversation. So, for me, it's really important to be there in this moment.

The concert, which marks the end of Madonna's Celebration Tour, will be held May 4 at Copacabana Beach, and is expected to draw 1 or even 2 million fans.
