HUFF POST: I hate to even link to Huffington Post anymore. Or The New York Times. But there seem to be no sources left in the mainstream media that are not beating a drum to get Biden to quit, which would GUARANTEED (1) sacrifice the power of the incumbency, as happened with Johnson; (2) lead to a chaotic open convention; (3) result in a candidate chosen by elites that somehow everyone will supposed to be happy with, have heard of, and vote for. It's a huge, huge undertaking, but the media — hangry for drama click — leapt at the chance to try to unseat Biden. All for cash. But:

The Supreme Court, in a shocking decision that could wind up being the end of the United States as we know it in the way a certain decision in 1933 undid Germany, has this week granted all presidents supposedly limited, yet absolute, immunity. Presidents have immunity for decisions made as official actions. So, for example, a POTUS wouldn't IN THEORY be able to murder his girlfriend. However, many other deeply troubling scenarios would be less clear-cut. As Justice Sotomayor wrote in her historic dissent, a POTUS could assassinate a political rival — and would get off scot-free. It also makes it blindingly obvious that at some point, a POTUS will attempt to stay in office indefinitely.

We have to stop whining about Biden and coalesce around the Democrats. If Biden relents and drops out, so be it — I'll vote for whomever is selected. But all the yammering about him being unelectable is just serving to chisel away at his actual electability.
