Robert Logan, the impossibly handsome actor who replaced Edd Byrnes on 77 Sunset Strip, has died at 82. I was always kinda fascinated with him because I saw him as the dad in lots of back-to-nature movies in the '70s, then he disappeared.

His last movie was 1997, and he apparently gave up acting entirely.
