TIME: One reason I was reluctant when it came to the demands that Biden step down was that to me, it seemed that Kamala HAD TO be the nominee. The people demanding he step down, most of them did not agree with me, envisioning an open convention. Try to picture the past 2+ weeks with NO Democratic nominee selected yet, and a bunch of A-hole Dems trying to muscle in. Where would we be? That said, as much as I've loved Kamala, I also did not envision Biden wisely forcing her in by aggressively endorsing her, nor did I envision (1) Kamala running with the moment so beautifully, or (2) people embracing her as if she had not been there all along. Let's win.
