I adore Fannie Flagg — who turns 80 today! I loved her in "Some of My Best Friends Are," on "Match Game" and of course we all love her for "Fried Green Tomatoes." https://t.co/PM2TZVyYOP pic.twitter.com/WUi2evhvtr

THE GUARDIAN: That dreadful Janet Jackson interview is actually filled with head-scratchers. Along with her instantly infamous assertion that she's heard (from Randy?!) that Kamala Harris ain't Black, she talks about child sex-trafficking (a topic Jacksons should avoid) in a QAnon way, and also seems to let slip that her brother Randy Control-s her career, probably too closely. A few catty comments here and there aside, Janet's always seemed relatively sweet. Her words in this interview are really disappointing. None of our icons is perfect, but it never stops being shocking when they say or do something really, really out of the character we have created around them in our brains.
INSTAGRAM: RIP Kathryn Grant aka Kathryn Crosby, Bing's widow. The former starlet had most recently been on Broadway in the 1996 revival of State Fair. She died Friday at home, surrounded by her family, at 90.
