Willa Justice: Drag Queen Private Eye is a short film long on potential. With a great name and a great concept, Jonathan Andre Culliton's film also locks in a visual style that makes it part Quentin Tarantino, part Barbie, part Valerie Solanas.

Tennessee drag legend Lady Chilane is the titular crime solver, a resourceful gal who manages multiple outfit and wig changes in the space of less than 15 minutes, all while desperately trying to solve the senseless murder of an annoying straight couple at the local gay bar.

Willa has moral support from gentleman caller Scott Turner Schofield (The Bold and the Beautiful Daytime Emmy nominee) as dashing Jamie Bondopolous, very few leads and even less common sense, making her all the more entertaining.

Without spoiling the ending, I must say this is a most charming gay terror manifesto in heels.

Get a clue and check this short out at his premiere September 21 at the 29Queer Film Festival in 29 Palms, California. But don't tell Willa I sent you — even though she'll probably figure it out.
