Sounds like the guy who thought he was going to assassinate Trump today at one of his golf courses five minutes from Mar-a-Lago was a bit of a buffoon — he had a mounted GoPro to capture the killing? Like, he thought he would be able to kill Trump, gather his GoPro and speed off to upload? Sounds whacky.

And I'm not a conspiracy theorist, and the last attempt was clearly real (and done by a registered Republican), but this coming on the heels of a disastrous debate, a disastrous Taylor Swift endorsement of his rival, a disastrous few days of dog-eating and cat-eating discourse and some disastrous polls (Alaska and Iowa tilting toward Harris) ... it's hard to swallow.
