BELOW: Keep reading for Kamala ragging on Trump, a fake Trump assassination attempt, Bill Clinton returns to McDonald's and more ...

TWITTER: You can't fake this kind of delighted response. Brilliant to return to McDonald's, for which he was famous — and at which Kamala Harris once worked (much to Trump's consternation).

TWITTER (FOLLOW ME): I had a hit tweet, and it led to a slew of DMs and replies calling me faggot, beta, etc., and you'd (not) be surprised how spotty Twitter is about punishing blatantly anti-gay content.

OUTSPORTS: The NFL donated $100K to honor gay player Carl Nassib on National Coming Out Day.

POLITICO: Bad news for Senate Rs is good news for Senate Ds.

TWITTER: VP Harris scorches Trump over being unfit to serve. “It makes you wonder ...”

HUFF POST: Trump openly fantasizes about a women getting the hell beaten out of her at his rally. (At the same rally, a MAGA sheriff claims he found a guy with a shotgun and is pretending this constitutes an assassination attempt. Hello, the guy's followers love guns.) Oh, and for good measure, he just suggested sending the U.S. military after leftists.

TWITTER: This twat, one of maybe at most 15,000 at Trump's Coachella rally, was enraged at the fact that it was a logistical nightmare. Instead of connecting the dots that this kind of thing is literally the campaign's responsibility, he went on and on ... until MAGAs shamed him into deleting his tweets.

NYT: “Ignore the Polls.” I wish I could, but I'm to fascinated by them. I've been interested in polling since I was a kid. I fantasized about doing a school poll where I would ask my classmates stuff and then mark the backs to see who was gay. But I quickly graduated to being interested in legit polls. Nowadays, my main interests are: (1) have pollsters adjusted successfully since misses in the last few cycles, and (2) are we at the very end of polling as a concept?

NPR: Gay-rights pioneer Arnie Kantrowitz died three years ago. Now, his partner has succeeded in posthumously publishing his gay novel Song of Myself, based on Walt Whitman. Buy it here.

KX NEWS: Fighting anti-queer legislation in North Dakota.

AUDACY: Fly on the Wall with Dana Carvey and David Spade probably isn't going to be my go-to — both are right-wingers, though not terribly loud about it. I'm currently salty that Carvey, who has besmirched Joe Biden for real, is on SNL mocking his nonexistent dementia. At any rate, Spade interestingly talks about how everyone thought he was gay when he was on SNL, including one of the funniest sketches ever to air on the show — those mall girls.

AL.COM: RIP Lilly Ledbetter, 86. Her fight led to President Obama signing the Fair Pay Act of 2009, his first order of business.
