Not great to be meeting up with a fake 16-year-old for sex, but the age of consent in Maryland is, in fact, 16.

TWITTER: Dr. Tressie McMillan Cottom probably has the smartest take on Trump's ... charisma ... yet. And in 2028, if we get a chance to vote again, Democrats need to have a candidate who is exactly like that (except with actual plans waiting in the wings.). It's Mark Cuban, I bet.

NEW REPUBLIC: Dems also lost because the media is right-wing, and the most right-wing media functions as a single-minded unit. When you have someone shoveling shit, it helps to have an uncritical, paid-off media.

HUFF POST: A lot of Dems are mad about it, but Pelosi turns out to have been right — there's no fucking way Biden could have won in this environment, and in fact, probably would have lost in an actual landslide. She has been criticized for pushing him out and secretly wanting Harris to have to compete in a nominating contest, but that, too, now seems to be correct. However, (1) I only think a difference would have been made had Biden not starting running again; and (2) once Harris did step in, she was fucking perfect. I have almost no notes.

Worth underscoring is Pelosi's belief that Kamala would have won that nominating process, and gone on to beat Trump.

AXIOS: If you don't think it's problematic (in the traditional sense) that Elon Musk was on the first post-election call between Trump and Zelenskyy, you're a useful idiot.
