ABOVE: Good fit.

OMG.BLOG!: Hairy buns on the run!
ToF: Here comes the 2024 Tom of Finland Art & Culture Festival.
BILLBOARD: Billboard ranks the Greatest Pop Stars of the 21st Century, and is making waves selecting Beyoncé over Taylor Swift.
HUFF POST: Rep. Nancy Mace (R-South Carolina) was way pro-trans rights. A year ago.
NBC4: Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine, supposedly one of the milder Republicans, has enthusiastically signed into a law a ban on kids using the bathroom corresponding to their gender ID. Why does this shit matter so much? Because they know it's a way to beat LGBTQ+ people down into submission via dehumanization and humiliation. No little girls are going to get raped by a trans girl classmate in the john.
THREADS: I did not realize Gwen Stefani is SO Catholic that she would take $ to shill for far-right Mark Wahlberg's Hallow prayer app, urging people to get Jesus in their lives this holiday season. I'm surprised so many people are surprised that a gay man might be cynical about that, but the comments show a lot of people think me finding this bizarre is anti-Christian, because for-pay apps and proselytizing is apparently normal for gays now.
Some A-hole's reply to me was “Dang, let her pray.” Uh, okay, but the point is she needs to let people NOT pray. I'm not the one taking cash from an atheist site and urging people to lose God. And atheism, by the way, isn't used as an excuse to trash LGBTQ+ people.
TWITTER: Musk just doxxed civil servants he wants fired, leading them to deal with an avalanche of harassment.
TWITTER: A day after his mommy whined about how MEAN the world is to him, Elon Musk posted that Gov. Pritzker of Illinois is a walking Ozempic ad. Fat Elon Musk did. And then ... he deleted it.
SFGATE: Adam Gray looks to be eking out a win over incumbent Republican Rep. Mike Garcia in California. The House will have a 220R-215D breakdown, but with people resigning to work with Trump, will be down to a 2 or even 1-vote spread until special elections kick in. Sounds unmanageable, which is just how I like my Republican House Majorities.
VARIETY: Apparently, Hot Ones turned down Kamala Harris (who is a well-known foodie) because the show wanted to avoid politics.
EXTRATV: Helen Gallagher, who was a two-time Tony winner and longtime star of Ryan's Hope, (here she was just a year ago, speaking about her career) died Sunday at 98. Above, Gallagher with the dynamic and tragic Bobby Van on the Tonys. Below, Gallagher really excelling as Tallulah Bankhead in an out-of-town musical about the icon's late. If I am not mistaken, this represented her last stage work:
Thanks to archivists like Alan Eichler, we have footage like this, of Gallagher singing her heart out on live TV 70 years ago:
In some ways just as rare (because daily talk shows were rarely saved), here is Gallagher belting with Mike Douglas on his show:
