NPR: Rep. Nancy Mace (R-South Carolina), the rape survivor who has wholeheartedly embraced rapist Trump and accused sexual predator Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-Florida), among many others, is ever-so-worried she will get raped by incoming Rep. Sarah McBride (D-Delaware) in the bathroom because, you know, McBride is a trans woman and there are SO MANY EXAMPLES of this happening. Disgusting people. If someone commits a crime, they get arrested. Don't pretend a group of people is predisposed to crime and punish them preemptively. If you're going to do that, just bar all men from being in public without a female chaperone.

McBride's response:

We should be focused on bringing down the cost of housing, health care, and child care, not manufacturing culture wars. Delawareans sent me here to make the American dream more affordable and accessible and that's what I'm focused on.
