THE DAILY SHOW: Pretty good, darkly funny stuff from The Daily Show:
BRIDGE MICHIGAN: I am happy that Elissa Slotkin won her Michigan race for the Senate, albeit by under 20,000 votes.
NBC NEWS: I am happy that Ruben Gallego will very likely win his Arizona race for the Senate. He had been expected to win by up to 10%, and will likely wind up with perhaps 3% or so. His opponent, the execrable Kari Lake, is a sore loser — but she might be quiet this time since even if she loses, she is guaranteed an amazing position in Trump's Administration.
NBC NEWS: I am shocked that Sen. Bob Casey appears to be close to officially losing his bid for re-election in Pennsylvania. Just two short years ago, Pennsylvania voted for Gov. Josh Shapiro by like 15% and unorthodox stroke victim John Fetterman by like 5%. Trump's name on the top of the ballot and longtime Pennsylvania household name Casey goes into the trash.
REUTERS: Democrat Sarah McBride, of Delaware, becomes the first-ever trans person elected to Congress. She handily won against her Republican challenger. I can only imagine the challenges she will face with colleagues who are openly scheming against trans people.
