THE NATION: As much of a wipeout as 11/5 was for Dems, Trump did not win in a landslide. We need to wash, rinse, repeat that as many times as necessary. Decisive, yes, but when all the California votes are counted, Trump may be a hair short of 50%. Winning by less than 2% nationally is a big improvement for Republicans, no doubt, but this isn't a landslide. He won the three key swing states by (so far) 30K in Wisconsin, 110K in Michigan and 150K in Pennsylvania — out of a total, in those states, of approximately 15.5M votes.
